Does that not seem like a bit much?
9.27 GB for a completely disabled feature is about half the size of macOS itself. It was 5 GB before -- how much bigger can we expect it to get, for something I have no intention to use?
Is there still no way to remove these files and have them stay gone? I...

I have noticed every now when using the Finder the purple privacy dot on the top right of my screen.
I'll open the Notification Center and see the image below that shows the "Finder" then when I click on it it says "Screen Recording" then disappears.
Is this something to be concerned about...
Hi All,
This is my first post so pardon for the lack of detail if there is!
I recently installed Sonoma via OCLP on my mbp pro 2016 due to Monterrey going out of support last year. I want to use this as my daily driver for things such as email, online banking and potentially online purchases...
I have macbook pro 14" M2 max device (Sequoia 15.4) and Adobe Photoshop 26.5.0
it takes 7 seconds to launch photoshop (first launch after restart device)
how long is this launch time on same MacOS version and Photoshop version on your device?
note: on the second and following trying, the...
Hey everyone!
I need some help with printers—specifically with Image Capture.
I'm currently using the most recent version of macOS Sequoia.
On macOS Monterey, System Settings automatically adds a Printer Proxy in the user’s Library > Printers folder. This proxy matches the printer’s name, has...
I just turned Mirroring off
(was mirroring from iMac to TV with HDMI cable);
turned off Mirroring in Settings, now I can't see any windows of any apps?
(i turned off all the icons on the Desktop)
- opening apps, & they open but I can't see any windows or do anything;
- just hard-powered off...
So it took a long while but it finally happened, an update to an application on my aging potato Linux box black screened my system... Been trying to daily drive Linux for a long time but it hasn't been smooth and I'm not Linux inclined anyway and often times felt like I was missing out on some...
Hello
I recently bought a MacBook pro 13 2020 on Intel processor (need native windows support) and it came with macOS Sequoia already installed. I have a feeling that on this version the laptop is running at the limit of its capabilities)) Thought to install some of the previous versions of...
After upgrading macOS from 15.3 to 15.3.1 on my mac mini m2, kernel_task started using ~1gb RAM after daily routine mac usage. Apple adds more and more bugs with every update. For example since macOS 15 after several hours in screen saver mode WindowServer consumes 2-3 gb RAM. This bug is still...
It's like when I scroll, there is a huge delay and then it catches up. It used to happen after a period of time and I would restart my Mac and it would fix it but it's driving me crazy. Has anyone else had delayed response on the trackpad? I'm using the latest version of sequoia on a MacBook Pro...
Hey everyone, I wanted to share a story about my journey to fix one of the most annoying problems I had with macOS: the Dock randomly jumping screens and moving around whenever it felt like it.
As someone who works with multiple monitors, I rely on the Dock staying anchored at the bottom of my...
My purchased music shows in search on my iPhone/iPad but not in my Mac’s Apple Music library, even after authorizing and syncing. On iPad, Shortcuts lacks a “Purchased” filter to automate a playlist (it’s on Mac, but useless there). I want a playlist of my purchased tracks, any fixes for Mac...
I noticed something that is slower on my 2021 M1 Max MBP than my 2013 MBP: switching spaces.
Whether it's by 3/4 finger swipe or ctrl+arrow key, it takes about 2 seconds after initiating the switch for the new app to become "active" and let you scroll, start typing, etc. The first second is...
Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a small project I’ve been working on called Valentine’s Dock, which brings a bit of seasonal romance to your Mac desktop for Valentine’s Day! Rather than altering any system icons, it creates two soft animations:
Falling Hearts: Delicate hearts gracefully...
Greetings, all!
I'm going to assume that my question is related to MacOS itself, rather than the specific computer, but in case it's relevant - I'm looking at an integration issue between my M4 Pro Mac Mini running MacOS 15.3 and an LG OLED65GXP series TV. The issue at hand - this Mac system...
Good morning, Mac users! 🌞 I hope you’re all doing well. This year, I’m embarking on an Apple ecosystem refresh. I’ve already upgraded my Apple Watch and iPhone, and now I’m moving on to AirTags, AirPods Pro , and a MacBook Pro. This will be my first Mac.
One of the key items on my list is a...
I'm looking for an ideal macOS email client. Does anyone have some recommendations?
Here is the list of conditions for my ideal client.

Hello fellow Apple fanboys,

Here is the recent version's announcement video:
You can see MacsyZones Website:

What it does for you?
You can create any number layouts with...
I just noticed something really strange on my new (to me) 16" M1 Max MBP running MacOS Sequoia 15.2. When tapping into an inactive window with the trackpad, sometimes the tap actually does something in that window, and sometimes it just makes the window active. This only seems to happen when...
