Text messages backup option missing in iCloud/iPhone.
Hi, I am trying to back up my old iPhone 6, when I go settings -> iCloud I cannot see option to back up my messages, when I log in to icloud.com I cannot see messages tab either. The iPhone has no sim card in it. Does it affect anything? Am I missing something obvious? -

Automatically clear old Messages
In the process of doing some spring cleaning I had a thought - Is there a way (even if it's through an Apple script or something) to clear out old iMessages on OS X like there is on iOS? It's easy to set 30 days or a year on iOS, but I can't find any similar setting on OS X. I know my laptop... -

iMessage on Apple Device with non-iPhone Number
Odd situation maybe, but if you have a Droid phone, and an iPad, is there a way to register the the phone number assigned to the Droid with iMessage so that when someone texts the number, it would come thru on the Droid, and on the iPad through iMessage? -
Lack of consistency in Read Receipts for iMessage in notifications?
