When my 16 Pro Max is in StandBy, regardless of being set to full color or red mode, displays notifications and Siri responses incorrectly.
Example, if I make a Siri request for, say, "Good Night" on first look I can see the little purple moon of the Good Night scene show up in the top left...
I have my iPhone 13 mini mounted on a magsafe dock on my desk running StandBy. After a period of inactivity, the screen turns off, which is nice. However, whenever I bump the table even slightly (even typing on a keyboard can trigger it), the iPhone screen turns on and shows the clock. I would...
Hey everyone!
I am looking for a pretty specific command to use in a shortcut:
Disable Screen Saver and Standby
For explanation: I am an event technician and often I use my MacBook Pro connected to our big PA. I need to start audio Cues on a short notice and my screen saver and standby mode...
Does anyone know what MagSafe stand Apple used during the iOS 17 and iPhone 15 presentation of Standby?
It looked like a Belkin but the base is square. Also it has a cable below so it seems to be one were you provide the MagSafe charger.
Thanks
I woke up this morning to what I can only describe as an advertisement placed in the widget side of my StandBy screen.
Until this morning, standby has only ever shown me my schedule. I haven’t intentionally customized it. It is essentially in the default mode that came with iOS17.
Has anyone...
Is anyone else having issues with this clock in StandBy? I can’t change the colour or even get into ‘edit mode’ without first needing to swipe up or down to another clock.
My hot take about iOS 17 is that Standby mode is bad in it's current state.
This weekend I 3D printed a MagSafe stand for my desk. Been using it all day with my new 15 Pro Max.
The photos it displays aren't very customizable. I can't seem to find a way to just pick my family's shared photo...
While I like the idea of StandBy mode on the phone, it seems at odds with battery health. I was under the impression that leaving a phone charging for long periods of time can contribute to quicker degradation of the battery, so with having the phone needing to be charging for StandBy mode to...
I’m looking for iPhone MagSafe stand recommendations to use with StandBy:
iPhone needs to be able to be placed in landscape orientation
Built-in MagSafe or a cutout for the Apple MagSafe charger is fine
Apple Watch fast charger is great but not required
Additional Qi charger for AirPods is...
Hello everyone!
I have owned several iPad Pro 2018s, and all of them have a similar issue with standby time. I'll charge them up all the way, use them for a couple hours, and then leave them sitting for a day or two. By the time I get back to it, they're usually most of the way drained and I...
So, a 4K ATV has been my hub and everything was great. Another ATV and HomePod have been "standby" hubs. And...then I had to turn off the ATV circuit to do some electrical work.
The HomePod took over as hub, and showed both ATVs as standby. Ok, fine. But then I find out all my automations...
Hi.
I keep my MacbookPro permanently connected via USB-C to my LG Ultrafine 5K monitor. After work is done, I close the lid, and it goes to standby.
However I noticed, that the laptop is warm (hand warm) all the time.
- Why is that? It is on standby.
- Does this hurt the battery?
- Shall I...
Hi Guys!
I' am wondering about an issue and I can't decide without relevant infos from daily users. So I thought maybe you can help me.
I have an iPhone 7 what I bought in June. During the months I found the battery life very poor (certainly I'm not alone with this), so I bought the Smart...
I recently had my MacBook Pro asleep for three days straight after fully charging, wifi off, and all applications closed. When I woke up my computer, my battery was down to 73%. Apple's official tech specs note that this machine should be capable of 30 days of standby time, not the 12 that I'm...
