    Inconsistent iMessage notifications (iPhone + iMac + VPN)

    I am experiencing inconsistent iMessage notifications when my iPhone is near my iMac and my iMac is connected to a VPN. I get no notifications at all, neither on the iPhone, nor on the iMac, of any kind - no sound, no banners. If I disconnect the VPN, all is back to normal. Anyone knows the reason?
