Not to worry I'm not uploading. Besides all I changed was the icons and dock. I like the new traffic lights/progress bars/etc.

I do sometimes transfer wallpapers across various versions. I was never wild about the Mavericks wallpaper, so ran the Snow Leopard wallpaper on my MBPs(much to the annoyance of @LightBulbFun ). My main G5 has the Yosemite wallpaper in Leopard and one of the alternate Yosemite papers in Tiger. I do have to say that the last three versions of OS X have had some killer default wallpapers.

Back when I had an eMac, I used the Yosemite wallpaper in tiger and the mavericks one in leopard. Then I found mountain leopard and ran with the ML wallpaper for a while.

Absolutely. Mac OS X was beautiful up until Yosemite came around and made it less pretty. Same for iOS 7, it's a shame Jony Ive took over UI design and oversimplified it, but I guess they had to hobble after Microsoft, who killed off the beautiful Aero with Metro. Skeuomorphism is a lost art. That said, I don't mind Yosemite/El Capitan/Sierra's design too much, and I like the novelty of seeing it on an old Mac, but I prefer the older ones, definitely.

The PowerPC Archive has been doing a larger catalog for years. The PPCStore simply adds a application front end to that style of software catalog.

I absolutely despised Metro in Windows 8, but I think Microsoft finally got it right in Windows 10. In fact, soon I am going to go back to Mavericks on my main mid-2012 cMBP simply because some software that I am required to use will not work with Yosemite and higher.
 
I really don't know who is administrating powerpc archive but it is amazing collection of software. Anyway, I hope Tiger section would work soon.

Awesome theme, thanks for it! But the symbol in the green traffic light is not the same as Sierra, it would be great if you could fix that. :)
 
A version with only a standalone theme updater and no PPCStore would be great. That way I can still use and support the PPCArchive without wasting hard drive space on a store I will never be interested in.

Yeah, but you said the PPCStore is also the updater for the theme. Obviously I would want to keep it up to date. Therefore the option of a version with just an updater app would be great.

If you're going to have such a negative attitude toward SourceSunTom's work, perhaps you shouldn't be using his theme in the first place.

PPCStore obviously took some time to make, by someone who has real passion for PPC Macs, and I don't think he is deliberately trying to steal users from PPC Archive. If I were in Gavin's position, my response would be to reach out and help/collaborate with SourceSunTom rather than compete.

Hey everyone! I just acquired a 1.67ghz PowerBook. I have just installed this awesome theme. Everything looks really good, but have noticed two issues. The first is being anything I try to download after the install just disappears after the download is complete. I can not find the file anywhere on the computer. Second issue is not all the sierra themed icons are updated. For example my iTunes icon has been updated to the new version, but my iPhoto icon is still the same leopard theme icon.
I figured I would post here to make you aware of my issues for future reference, and or if there is a workaround for these issues that someone may have some insight on how to repair them. Also thank you for putting the time and effort into such an amazing theme update for Leopard.
 
Maybe it's just me…but I don't understand why hosting websites are so expensive. Unless you have no income I guess.

I have three websites with these people: http://tigertech.net/

I pay $27 a month for this and with each site I get 50+email addresses, unmetered bandwidth, PHP, and a bunch of other stuff. As long as you stick with them each month they pay your yearly domain registration.

Basic hosting: $10 up to $20 for business hosting.

Is it really that expensive?

Thats actually a really good deal, you are right, though, web hosting is costing less and less. Hell, GitHub pages has free static web hosting (what I use for all of my static website). Just hook up your domain name. Need a firewall and SSL? Cloudflare.com is free! I treat a donate button like a tip jar, personally. I've thought about putting one on my site, but I haven't really wanted to.

I can't speak for TigerTech, but it appears that they have an awesome package deal. The SSL cert is worth that, plus the unmetered band width is stellar.

I might be switching to them if they are that good. I've grown increasingly tired of Directnic's shoddy website, much less their communication. I used to own http://keatonburleson.com, but I didn't get an email notification until it was too late. Now I've been quoted $300 for that domain, through a broker who emails me time-to-time, asking for a 'deal'. I'll only pay $12 for that domain.

They are that good!

Their customer support is stellar! You WILL get an answer within an hour or two on a SUNDAY. Even if it's a freaking billing question! You can get a slight discount if you pay up annually versus monthly but even if you pay monthly (which I do) it's cheap. I have never been notified after the fact when a domain of mine was expiring (I have one domain that piggy backs on the links of another), they have always emailed me early and they offer the service where they sub their address and phone number for yours.

Email is IMAP and they have FTP direct to their servers.

I was really happy to find them. Think I've been with them since 2008 now.

They are located in San Francisco and have been web hosting since 1997. They know Macs as well because before web hosting they were a software developer for Mac.

I also noted that you can run your own scripts and processes! Which is awesome. This summer, I'm switching.

"We've been providing reliable Web hosting services since 1999". Maybe before 1999, the web hosting wasn't reliable? Haha!
