My 1.67/1.83 now shipped this morning! I ordered it 5 minutes after the keynote stock, but changed it to a 100 GB 5400 RPM HDD 2 days later. Hope this gives hope to everyone!
 
Still nothing on my CTO 1.83 with 7200 drive, CC not even charged yet and it was ordered right after keynote. Perhaps there pushing US/Canadian ones out first..?

I ordered on Jan.25 with a ship date of Feb.28th. When I switched my order
from the 12th of Jan. to the 25th I was told that it would not affect the shipping status....someone lied:(
I had to add my office 2004, on the same invoice as the Macbook for me to get the rebate.Grrr....... which I received last night. My applecare will
arrive tonight, just waiting for the Macbook.

I hope it ships this week, maybe even by Saturday:cool:

You are one of the lucky ones. I ordered around the same time as you and got the 7200RPM drive. My CC hasn't even been charged yet. But theoretically if it ships by the 23rd, Shanghai time, I'd still have slim chance of getting by the weekend. It would be sheer torture if my MBP was help up in a FedEx hanger all weekend.
 
As of this morning, there were two new reports of 1.67/1.83 GHz shipping. www.schmidp.com/macbook/index.php They reported as shipped today (22nd). Both were stock models ordered right after the keynote on the 10th. They are shipping to users in Montreal and Toronto, Canada. Both of these had been labeled "estimated shipped by February 23." [Note: 10 minutes later, I now see a number of others popping up. All declared to have been shipped today and going to various US destinations]

Bummer...sorry! Hopefully it will ship soon...

I ordered a stock 1.83 on February 4th, so I'm hoping late this week or early next week. I have an estimated ship date of March 8. What do you think?

Ya I know....but do have hope it will hopefully ship tomorrow. Not expecting
it , but would be nice. If you ordered on the 4th of Feb. I think it should
ship by the 3rd of March which would land at your place that week.

But if I’m pushed back to the 28th then it may be the week after. I thinks
that its looking good though. Let’s be positive!!!!:)

I will call Apple in a few minutes just to see if their is any indication that
it will be shipped today.

There still is hope!!!!!!:D

Let me know if you get any updates.

I would be happy with shipping a week before the estimated ship date (ie, March 1 instead of March 8).

Here's to hoping.
 
Ordered Jan 19th, Mine has not shipped yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH supposed to ship fe 28th....
i have been calling the apple stores around here everyday hoping to get one, im giving up

From what I can gather, the orders now shipping (1.83) were placed between Jan. 10-12.

My brother ordered a 1.83 w/ a 7200 drive. I believe on Jan. 12th. His credit card has charged this morning but he has not seen a shipping notice.
 
Hey, did anybody's 1.67/now 1.83 make the FedEx cutoff time for leaving China today? Let me know, I'm mad that I paid for 2 day shipping and it's going to take almost 4 BUSINESS DAYS now to arrive on Monday!

BTW, I contacted FedEx, and they claim that Apple will NOT let you pick it up at the local FedEx facility, even IF you are the receiver (also called Apple to verify this and it is true)! They must make one delivery attempt according to their contract with Apple. Also, they cannot arrange to add Saturday delivery service even at your expense. Thought I'd tell everyone this in advance.
 
Stock 1.67-1.83 shipped 2.22 at 6:30. Past cutoff time as well. Shows to be delivered 2/27 :-( Bummed that we can't pick these up Sat. With my luck, it will not be here Friday. So are we sure fed ex does not ship these on Sat?

That's good information. Thanks. Too bad about the Saturday delivery... the way my iMac Intel shipment timing worked out, Saturday would be a likely delivery day based upon the FedEx shipping status for my 1.83. However, based on my memory of that shipment, there's a chance those of us in easy to reach spots for FedEx could get these on Friday.

And yea, eme jota ce, we're pretty close to FedEx's main hubs in Indy and Memphis (especially me with Memphis and you with Indy), perhaps with luck we'll see them in our local sort facilities Friday morning.
