if i wasnt half way through switching from 12" to 15", i'd never have read that! you're in college dude, write in paragraphs!!

yes, yes, thank you for pointing that out. . . . im an engineer for crying out loud!!! i cant help it if i cant write!!! i have taken ONE english class in my entire college career! and the only reason i did well in that was because all my papers were full of innuendo and my prof happened to like that. you guys should at least be happy that i recently found the spell checker in safari, otherwise my spelling would have been just as bad as my punctuation! . . . and to conclude this lovely statement, i have a younger brother in 7th grade who can write better than i can!!! but you know what, when it comes to math or any sort of engineering, i can do many many many times better than my writing!

I'm an engineering prof and I teach technical communications to my 2nd year students. I'm probably better at writing and speaking than math. Well, my math wasn't bad I suppose - I've just forgotten a lot of the stuff I don't use anymore.

Funny post though... I for the longest time had convinced myself that I wanted a 17" PB and here I am using a 12" HP tablet. When I'm traveling, small is a premium advantage. But when I'm at a desk, it's docked to a 19" LCD. Sweet. Bigger IS better.

ha, yeah, i took a class like that once. it was a class mostly on presentation of technical material, so we essentially gave a lot of verbal/power point presentations. i totally aced that class. im a pretty articulate outgoing guy so i can completely wing a presentation and do fine. i dont know why i cant write though! heh. . .

anyway, yeah. i have a 20" monitor when i get back to my apt. but ive noticed i work a lot on campus or in groups on projects and so far i have loved the extra space of the 15" . . . and seriously, in moving around the 'portability factor' of the 15" is not noticeable compared to the 12" PB.

but yeah. . . speaking of class, i should probably go! advanced math for engineers, exciting!!!
