Hello All,
I am about done with Apple (I say that but I can't leave because I am so ****ing sucked into their ecosystem) but once every 3 months or so I get this damn issue were my Standy and Usage time match and my phone just drains like none other. My iPhone 7 on 10.1.1 has been unplugged for a half hour and is already at 97%....normally I can listen to a podcast on my 40 minute commute and be at 99% or 100% by the time I get to work. I have already tried a hard reset and reseting all settings, deleting mail accounts, etc. I know the "answer" is dfu restore and clean install but no, I am sorry I am fed up with this ****. That literally takes hours and I need my phone just to work like in the old days of Apple. Also when you do a clean install you can't get your health data back because Apple won't give me the option to store that in the cloud.
Also the same damn thing is happening on my iPad Air 2 on the same update. I literally charge it up to 100% and unplug it before I leave for the day. I let it sit at home doing nothing and just like my iPhone the usage and standby time match and the battery is down to like 70% just sitting doing nothing. It used to last a month if it was idle. Does anyone else have this problem or a solution to it.
Update: I have deleted literally every non apple app off the phone and same **** is still happening.
