10.7.1 and Mac Mini 2011 - still random black screen and flickering

Yes, I installed the EFI Firmware update, but to no avail. Still flickering and blanking.

Well, Apple apparently posted the EFI Firmware update (today?) and some users had success with it, then Apple pulled it without explanation.

I'm encouraged, since it's clear Apple's working on this... they must have not ironed out all the details in the update, but I imagine they will in due course.

Anyone know more?

This website posted a link to a .dmg file a couple of days ago. I believe it is an unofficial release. I downloaded it, and so far I haven't had the first flicker or black screen.

Still waiting for Apple to re-post the EFI update. They have a file on me, so I'm curious why I was not offered the "private" update. I've seen posts saying we must now take our stuff to an Apple store for the update, but that seems a bit silly.
