Same here.... though minor issues on my end. Overall the XS max is such a good phone... I find it fiscally irresponsible to buy $1,000+ iPhones every year
I mean if you have the money why not? Plus people more than likely use trade-ins or they privately sell their phone to offset the cost.

I already had the X and I'm on my current Xs Max. Tempted since I'm a yearly upgrader but just can't justify the almost exact form factor for a third year. Rather just pay off my Xs Max to put towards the 2020 iPhone (cause that's going to be expensive). So for now, I'm just looking forward to iOS 13 for my Max.
I’m looking forward to iOS 13 for my XS Max also. Usually I download the beta before the public release to test out, but this year because I’m not upgrading I decided to wait it out and buy a new case, so the my Max will feel new.

I think people are going to be suckered into buying the iPhone 11 because of the "PRO" name, when in fact. the only upgrade is the camera. I have the XS Max and won't be suckered into upgrading. I must admit the PRO name sounds so good, but no thanks Apple. I am waiting for 2020.
I’m not gonna lie, I just bought a new Apple Leather Case yesterday to make it seem like it’s a fresh phone since I decided to keep it lmao.
I’ll probably wait. This will be the longest I’ve kept an iPhone in some time. My almost 2 year old X still has 87% battery health.
5G, the other 9 I'm sure will just be icing on the cake. Plus I'll end up outright owning my XS max to have as a spare or a hand me down to someone. So win win for me.
I want:
1. Higher water resistance (Apple Watch level) - solid state buttons?
2. Better camera - low light, zoom, and wide angle
3. Better battery - anything
4. Lightning connector
if these 4 things are significant enough, I will probably make the jump. Lightning will help convince me to buy it because next year it’s rumored to not have it. I only get a phone every 3 years and don’t want to switch all my cables just yet when all my other devices are lightning. Including my wife’s
