1080p not playing smoothly on 2.8GHz iMac

SaSaSushi, I think I know why I'm getting no audio from the mkv files I'm viewing. That's because currently version 0.5b2 does not support AAC 6 ch audio, that's why I'm not getting any sound. That alone should also be the reason why the movies are playing at accelerated motion.

AAC 6 ch support will be provided in ver. 0.6 which is supposed to arrive on 1st June.

Take a look at the roadmap.

That would definitely explain it.

Glad to hear you sorted it and it looks like you won't have to wait much longer.

I guess I just haven't tried any 6-channel AAC files yet.
