What are the long term effects of a program like Coolbook to the hardware of a MBA, if any?

Coolbooks purpose is to undervolt the CPU, so theoretically the life of the CPU should last longer. Vice versa if you over volt for obvious reasons.

13" Air battery life is simply stunning, lasts sooo longer than my MBP 13"...that by the way I just sold for as much as I paid for it (I got 200 € off back in May).

Let's see what Apple gives us with the upcoming refresh, I'm negative about a redesign...

As a MBA 13" owner I could not be happier with the battery life. And no more burned flesh if I am running flash videos like I have from falling asleep with my MBP in my lap a year ago...

So I installed Coolbook on my wife's MBA and it totally slowed down the boot times. Even "uninstalling" the app and associated application support files did not fix it.

I did a repair permissions to no avail. Any ideas to restore my wife's MBA boot times?
