iPad Pro 12.9" Apple Silicone Case Discontinued??

I've done the same thing, without the drilling.

doesn't matter to me

saved my iPad on a nice fall once or twice too

and the silicone just feels great.

recommend it, if you can look past mic and flash block

I'm also a bit miffed about this. Does anybody know if it's a permanent discontinuation, or are there just problems with the supplier?

I prefer to use a sleeve to a front cover to protect the glass, but i need something grippier and low profile to stop it falling out my hands at any moment.

The silicone case on the 1st-gen was ideal, but I'd hate to go and pay R1500 to cover the flash/microphone if apple are planning to release proper covers for the 2nd-gen 12.9" in the immediate future?

I dunno what they’d be waiting for. 2017 12.9 has been our for a bit now.

I feel you. I just ordered the first generation version off eBay today. I don’t really use the rear camera, so it should be fine, but, yeah, it’s not ideal. If I could do a nice job with it, I’d poke holes in the proper places.

I saw somebody tried that, but it looked really nasty. I really hope this is just a supply problem :'(

The Gen 1 model is discontinued...I don't know why anyone would think they would continue producing it.

Apple never made a gen 2 version fo whatever reason. Strange indeed.
