12 Pro / Pro Max Pacific Blue - Do you still love the color or regret the choice?

This is question of my life. From the launching I try to make a choice between PB and other colors.

I tried for 2 weeks the silver.

I love the back of this silver. So clean, so intemporel, so winter and summer vibe. But I hate the feeling with a case. Specially the silver edge that stand out from the case. For example, 11 pro silver was better.

Gold looks pretty good also mais also I don't like stunning sides. It looks so bling-bling. But when you put in case it looks fantastic like a sun in your phone. Basically I had Iphone Xs gold so beautiful.

Graphite looks pretty nice but black is black. Very professional color and that's it.

PB looks like the better option for me but in fact I would liked a silver like the 11 pro. Otherwise, blue is my favorite color.

Blue of Iphone 12 is pretty nice better I guess than Pro but unprofessional vibe.

Yup, it’s addicting. Lol. I’m trying to stay good with 4 cases this time around . Back in my early iPhone days I used to have 15-20 cases for each phone. Then I scaled back to 5 once I had my XS Max.

I did get a promo code through a YouTuber, not sure who as my sister-in-law gave me the code.

Pacific blue looks real nice with that blue coating on the metal sides. I don't regret it. My GF has silver, and her phone is already getting scratches despite her using a case unlike my phone, and she babies her phone far more than me. I am glad that I don't have silver.
 
From day one, I wanted the silver. It looked timeless, and the white back with black screen is a cool two tone effect. My previous phone was a 6s plus in space grey. I didn’t get white at that time just because of the white banding with dark screen. But, something was very tempting about PB and ordered it. But, through out, I have liked blue in everything only to get bored in a few months. Changed my mind and went back to silver.
 
Is the finish on the sides of the PB the same durability wise as the graphite?

PB. unique and so tired of Space Grey. Besides it’s in a case
color is hardly seen except for Camera module
Would be nice to see Apple bring back a Stealth Black as in the iPhone 7

I had the PB color but then exchanged it for the graphite.. I did buy it sight unseen FWIW

Same. I had PB but went to Graphite.

Graphite is just stealthy but understated, works better with more cases and those sides are just . Loved the PB in a darker setting but wasn’t a fan of it in lighter conditions where it would show teal, also didn’t dig the camera cutout colour at all. I loved the darker bezel around the screen and made the screen feel seamless. Graphite seems to be sold out now with PB being available so maybe the appeal is reducing.

I didn’t want to end up being bored if the PB in a few months time.

My ultimate would be a jet black iPhone like the iPhone 7 - was my all time favourite iPhone colour.
 
Just based on my observation from around me. I see most girls with the gold iPhone. One day I ran into 6.

Then I see lots of guys with graphite and pacific blue. Strangely, I don't see that many silver around me, even though I think silver is very beautiful also. If I didn't get the gold which I love dearly, I might consider silver because I want a light colored phone.
 
Y’know, I’m loving my PB 12 Pro. Will it end up being my favorite iPhone color ever? I dunno, we’ll see. Previously, I’ve had iPhones in the “new” colors like the white iPhone 4, gold 5S, and Jet Black 7+. Those iPhones will always be ones I will remember but having wanted a blue one for so long I couldn’t turn down the Pacific Blue.

It is certainly a gorgeous color, no doubt!

This pretty much summed it up.. the 'teal' really annoyed me and the camera cutout color too. Graphite to me is much more 'safe' and it matches my MBP, KB and mouse better.

I really like the colour of the sides and back in lower lighting conditions, it was stunning but that teal in bright lighting wasn’t great and quite bland looking, plus the camera cut out wasn’t great. Would have loved a black camera cut out across the range.
