That makes sense. You are the exception, Lee.Some people work away mate, like myself on an Oil Rig and I prefer the higher tier.
The internet is really bad and very slow, and absolutely no possible chance to download photos or videos etc
So I always choose the 1TB version to allow me to store more
Absolutely it is.You dont think Apple will release some killer App or iPadOS which needs more storage in June ?
Just wondering if the extra £100 is worth the longer term gains
Google is going to start charging for photo storage. Not sure of their specific plans but the unlimited free photo storage option is going away.yeah 128gb will be great. You could use also google photos in case you are going to continue to produce pictures. the google photos have unlimited storage for heavy users
it's not going away, it's going away the free unlimited storage. however you still can store unlimited if you payGoogle is going to start charging for photo storage. Not sure of their specific plans but the unlimited free photo storage option is going away
Unlimited under a certain megapixels only.it's not going away, it's going away the free unlimited storage. however you still can store unlimited if you pay
Not even that, it's not unlimited at all. "High quality" will compress photos and videos, but they will still take up storage and the smallest plan gives you 100GO for $20/year and the largest 2TB for $100/year.Unlimited under a certain megapixels only.
I have checked all their plans because I was planning to do a photo studio, and you can request for up to 30tb If I remember correct! not sure thought but definitely is not only 2 tbNot even that, it's not unlimited at all. Wow, I am glad I don't need that much online storage given the price....View attachment 1786163
you must selecte more options. its in greek language as you can see but the price is 149.99 euros per month. I have no idea how this works in your country but in CYprus this is available.
Yes. Everything else is 8gb.Do you need to get the 1TB+ in order to get 16GB RAM?
it's a bit extreme, but ...maybe some people use it. I also don't need it but I was shocked when I see that is so much space available. well, one drive is also good. but much more limited. about movies, I don't store them. I watch online to save space. you know netflix etc...Wow, I am glad I don't need that much online storage given the price....
My 5TB Onedrive storage, which I get for free from my work, are enough for my personal use for the foreseeable future (including for personal videos and photos). My movie collection is spread over several SSDs, backed up by HDDs (an only partially on Onedrive...)
With my 10.5 I took the classic advice of “get as much storage as you can possibly afford for future proofing”, so I got 512GB. What a huge waste of money that was!
I’m retiring this device tomorrow and after all these years I’m using a whopping 53GB and I could easily trim it down if I needed to.
I’m no longer going to follow that advice. 128GB for me. If it becomes a nuisance then I’ll deal with it then, but I suspect I’ll get along just fine.
I’m also not going to get the WIFI+Cellular model. I used cellular maybe a handful of times and I could have very easily just used the hotspot on my phone for those few times.
Feels good saving money on the base model.
