So then it's definitely coming out next Tuesday.

No. Next Thursday. If they released the PowerBook G5 on a Tuesday, everyone would see it coming. :)

Honestly, we will never see a 13.3" MacBook Pro. Ever.

MacBook Lite is a strong possibility though.

Thats a pretty hard statement. Maybe you should go through thread 500 once again before making such future predictions. There doesnt seem to be one in line for the near future. But who knows what`ll happen after an year. Who knew you could be able to run windows natively on your Mac. Who had an idea we`ll see intel chips in Macs. Which, as a matter of fact, Mac users thought of as crap and was the second most BS thing in the world after winblows. So please dont make such strong statements bout Apple products.(unless ofcourse your name Steve Jobs, CEO AAPL:p :D )

Okay. Fine. Maybe one day we will see a 13.3" MacBook Pro. But for now, the MacBook family is complete as Apple has stated on their site. I will avoid any future "hard statements" because... I don't why... because this is MacRumors.

I went and read thread 500. It's pretty funny to look back and see reactions like that and then see what's happened since.

I was in the elevator talking to Steve Jobs (he said he was VERY sick & that's why he lost 10 pounds, and that he competely turned anorexic), and he showed me the 13.3" MacBook Pro, and it's hella cool. I took a quick picture....sorry it's a wee bit blurry because I had very little time while Steve Jobs was turned around

What a dumb thread. There will be no 13" MacBook Pro. The line is complete for now. There is no reason to provide a machine between the two lines to bridge a gap that, to me, doesn't even exist. This might be the best laptop line that Apple has ever had.

Yeah, following that pattern i know some other terms used in NL by ISP's:
Let's than make
- MacBook GO (as in TomTom GO) for navigation
- MacBook Lite as suggested
- MacBook (Basic) the one we have
- MacBook Pro the one we have
- MacBook Ultra (getting big big screens like those ugly acers)

hahah.

I heard from three and a half.

Oh really? Well my mom told me that the iPod inviso is coming out next Tuesday. So there! :p

This thread is a little...odd. For instance I came out and said there would be no 13.3" MacBook Pro and then I was shot down for making "hard statements" and right after saying that Warbrain comes in and says the same thing with no reaction. BTW, I totally agree with you Warbrain. :)

"The family is now complete." - How hard is that to understand?

Apple does not cater to the picky members of MacRumors. They know that there are probably a few thousand people who would want a 13.3" MacBook Pro in the world (almost all of which read and post on MacRumors) because of the same reason: "I want my ATI X987464 with 512 MB VRAM in it!" For what? Use on a 13.3" screen? So why bother making such a product for only a few customers? They won't.

As Warbrain said, Apple has the best mobile lineup in their entire history going for them right now. I don't think they're willing to waste resources on a machine that won't even be close to the popularity of the MacBook.

The End.

well, i am one of those who wants a 13.3 macb pro

and there was a 12" powerbook made and a 12" ibook, so why cant they make a 13.3" macb pro and a 13.3" macbook eh? same thing!

so dont just say "THERE WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER (re-occuring) BE A MACBOOK PRO 13.3" because you have no proof of that... ;)

13.3 macb pro...i can hope...

When I am playing Duke Nukem Forever on Windows Vista running on my Powerbook G5 I will also place an order for a 13" Macbook Pro :D

what's the point of a 13" MBP? I figure if you need a pro based computer you would want pro based screen real estate. why not just get the 15.4" and be happy now?
