Same experience that Apple and T-Mobile blamed each other. The T-Mobile guy told me his experience is that it is iphone 13 specific, which would explain why I'm the only one in my family experiencing this. I used the set of instructions to sign out of all imessage instances (iphone, ipad and macbook) and then sign back in. And it came online about an hour later. Today it went off again, and I tried the instructions again and it doesn't appear to work. I suspect that it went offline when my son tried to facetime me. It seems that the issue is with both of those. Very frustrating. T-Mobile tech said that he has had many calls with this, and that something he read said it has been acknowledged as an issue and should be fixed in the next update. Very annoying. I think I'll try the idea to get a physical SIM card.

I removed my line from my phone thru settings and called T-mobile from another phone and had them activate my eSIM again. Worked like a charm. Just have to authenticate through email since SMS won’t be an option anymore!

This worked (so far) for me! Thank you for the suggestion!
