Around 10% per night goes to Find My.

I have an automation that turns off AID/ turns on battery saving during the night. Yet I’m losing 10+% on Find My.

Initially I thought it’s because of my AirPods staying out of the case. But it’s not, I haven’t used the AirPods last night and still lost battery.

Any solution in this?

I found in other places that it's an old issue due to bluetooth, might try an automation that turns off bluetooth during the night

So it seems that with Bluetooth off between 2 and 7, I lost only 3% 🤡

Seems we found the culprit.

I made an automation that triggers at 1am (I sleep late) and if focus = sleep then turn off Bluetooth.

I want to keep it independent from the bedtime automation (starts around 11:30) because maybe I’m out drinking and I don’t want it, so I’ll have time to turn off sleep mode so Bluetooth off won’t trigger.

but this also means that find my/ bluetooth drains a lot of battery during the day... :( and actually find my still identifies the items and approx location, even for airtag "home 8 minutes ago" with BT completely off.
