I’ve noticed these marks on the camera circumference out the box. Tried wiping and it doesn’t come off.

Used my wife’s phone.

I would absolutely make them replace that. That doesn’t look like a small scratch for a brand new phone.

Edit: post your polishing, it looks fine to me. I think I’d stick with what you have now.

My natural titanium pro max has some surface scratches out of the box on the frame. Does anyone know if this can be polished out? I’d hate to wait for a replacement in this flurry. I noticed it as I was putting on a case.
No pics?

This is great to know for future reference, thanks @faksnima I also have a AWU... So far no scratches on that *knock on wood* but good to know about this nifty little trick should it happen in the future.... Especially since I plan on using my 15PM case-less

This is why I have not got one yet, I wanted to see how the whole damage thing pans out, especially after JRs video.

I rarely use a case and my 14PM still looks basically as new. If those edges scratch that easily, it would drive me mad!

Isn’t JRs video a little crazy? You sure won’t do that to a phone or maybe you will?

The bending bit maybe, even so how easily the pro max popped was a little disconcerting. I am though more concerned as to how easily the sides seem to scratch, maybe slightly less visible on the natural colour but still.

If you can keep a 14PM looking new case-less, I think you'll be just fine with 15PM.

I'm also caseless, and I find the 15PM much less anxiety-inducing. The finish looks very similar to the old Titanium watches, and those have held up quite well for me after 3 yrs.

Yes my 14PM was pretty good and my 15Pm blue should be fine. Honestly though I am not too worried as I have Apple care and don’t baby my phone intentionally but never have had any issues.

I do love the form factor compared to 14PM since getting it on launch day.

Ahh makes sense and thanks for the clarification.
