Has anyone come to any new conclusions in the past year about if there's any way to get 20Gbps transfer speeds out of a MBP? Like an idiot, I forgot that the USB 3.2 2x2 spec isn't well supported and picked up a Crucial X10 that uses that spec. I speed tested it on my M1 Pro MBP and I only got 10Gbps level speed out of it.

It actually came in slightly behind a much older drive that only was at USB 3.2 Gen 2 specs.

Anyone know if there's any new info here? I'm going to be moving to an M4 Pro soon if that matters. Am I stuck with a 10Gbps drive?
There is at least one video that mentions the M4 Pro / Max despite being on TB5, it still doesn't support 2x2 as this is not a mandatory requirement in the TB5 spec.

Here is the video in question, at 4 minute mark talking about TB5.
