How does him pointing out what is probably your error make him 12?
Most people develop a concrete sense of temporal progression in early adolescence--before then it is abstract. He made the faulty assumption that because the iTunes page now mentions a "pro" version, then it must have always mentioned a pro version. I do not believe an adult would make such a basic logical reasoning error.
And he was supposed to make the equally faulty assumption that the iTunes page did not mention the "pro" version until after you bought the standard version just because you say so?
All you had to do was say that the Pro version was not mentioned on the iTunes page when your bought the Touch version. That's it. You didn't need to tell all of us how "most people" are supposed to think.
By the way, I just got both versions for free. Damn, if you had waited a little longer...... Now I suppose you will vilify the 1 password folks for that!
