... I dont often rant on here ...
Not true at all. ;)
... about Apple ... the majority of their stuff is the dogs bollocks. ...
You lost me here, cause your just lying/exaggerating. So why should anyone take you seriously or answer your question?

Whatever problems people have with Apple, Apple hardware etc., to categorise them as a company that mostly makes ***** stuff is just stupid. You just come off like the doorknob that you probably are.

The fact that you have a footie club logo for an icon and the word "boobs" in your handle and "piss" in your motto, also works against anyone mistaking you for an adult human being or anyone worth talking to.

:D

'The Dogs Bollocks' means good, really good. :)

The fact that you have a footie club logo for an icon and the word "boobs" in your handle and "piss" in your motto, also works against anyone mistaking you for an adult human being or anyone worth talking to.

But that, well thats just narrow minded and the biggest load of BS I have possibly ever heard. So maybe, just maybe, you should pull your head out of your arse and have another go.

Next time, before you just in with both feet just think about what your saying and make sure you understand what your replying to.

But if we're playing that game, you would seem to have a strange obsession with the Childrens TV show Thunderbirds. So that works against my thinking that your more than a child, or at least someone worth talking to...

The 'dogs bollocks' means 'good'. Its a UK thing. :D

From the things you have pointed out about my Avatar, name and 'location' I can see why you said it, but there are many people here that will argue I'm not what you believe me to be.

One: I have the club logo because I am a proud Barça club member (i.e. I own part of FCBarcelona).

Two: I dont use the word 'boobs' in a derogatory fashion. MacBoobsPro is a little bit of fun and unique. If I remember it won an unofficial favourite username poll on MacRumors a few years ago.

Three: 'Pissing in the wind' (my location) is used because I was going through a rough time at the time and I use it to remember how bad it was and to make me think positively for the future.

Four: The ATV rant is out of character for me (I'm sure others will vouch for that) but I was so frustrated. Going up and down the stairs from Mac to TV for an hour or so, switching things on and off and not knowing what was going on, when all I wanted to do was chill out was very frustrating.

Five: Don't judge a book by its cover. It might have more pictures than you think!

It's not even the real Thunderbird 2 but the one from the crappy live action film

The real thing

Off-topic but how did you set up your 300GB worth of movies?
Separate iTunes library on an external HD or NAS or how?

Since a better quality conversion and possibly 5.1 surround sound is coming to Handbrake I am really thinking about ripping all my DVDs.

Btw, glad you got your problem sorted out, was kinda worried about you there for a sec. :D :p

How is it all of you are saying when you sync and stream from the same computer everything is listed under My (XXX) menu option. I am syncing and streaming and all my streaming stuff creates a new menu option called Shared Movies (an example) and my photos and music that is synced is shown under My Photos and My Music. How are you all not getting that Shared (XXX) menu option?????

I have an external 500gb drive. Copied my library to it and told iTunes where to find it.

Lay off Olly. :D I think he already feels like a 'doorknob'.

- I don't feel like a "doorknob" I never use the word except when being polite to people on a public forum I would rather call something else.

- "Dog's Bollocks" does not mean "good, really good"

- The tone of the replies to what I said, kind of proves my point about what kind of people you are.

- I know more about the original Thunderbirds and what icon is what than any of you are likely to ever discover.

- The original TBird 2 didn't fit in the crappy tiny icon we are allowed on the forum.

- Anyone that apreciates the Thunderbirds even a tiny bit should be ashamed to be saying some of the things I have heard here and acting in the way they have.

So I can't say 'boobs' without being branded a 'doorknob' but you can say 'crappy?'

'Dogs bollocks' does mean 'good'. To make it a little bit clearer for you though I will go as far as saying it means 'top notch' as opposed to just 'good'.

You say I (now we) are not worth talking to but yet you have replied.

You also branded me a 'non-adult' even though you keep promoting your kids TV show fetish.

I wouldn't want to know more about the Thunderbirds and wouldn't waste my time 'discovering' facts about 30 year old puppets.

Think of it this way. I know more about FCBarcelona than you. But do you care? No. Do I care that you don't care? No.

Grow up mate!

Dog's Bollocks does mean something is really good.

I was a big fan of Thunderbirds when I was a kid in the sixties along with Stingray, Captain Scarlet & Joe 90 and had most the toys from the shows, my favourite being my Joe 90 Secret Agent Suitcase

So, while I might not know all the Thunderbirds trivia, I do know how to make MacRumors avatars. :p

Help yourself mate and try and chill out a little!
