I’ve always said I’d buy as big of an iPad as Apple will sell. I take it back though. I’m not going to buy a 20” iPad. You done gone too far.

Why is 20” the magic number? Why not have something about 35” that you could rest on an easel, it would be great for painters.

These kind of threads always make me laugh it’s all about the money with Apple, as if they are supposed to be some kind of charity.

I could see the 12.9 getting a slightly larger screen when it goes bezel-less (if they continue with two model sizes and the 11” isn’t going to be replacing both) but probably only to about 13.5” or so.

At that point it’s NOT an iPad... we have to draw the line somewhere. The only increase in size I foresee in the iPad line is stretching out the 12.9 inch to fill up the bezels. Anything more Apple will NEVER do.

A touch interface screen that runs iOS isn't an iPad?

WHY can't apple make a 20" iPad?

13" is clearly too small for creatives...just like the iPhone its always about the money never about the user.

Nowadays apple should copy windows and create a 2 in 1, makes a lot of sense.

Ask yourself how many apple devices do you have? its quite terrible all the environmental impact they have.

if you want to have 20” ipad, you could better get Surface Studio with a fully operational os instead of crippled ios.

Windows and macOS will never be as secure as iOS or as nice to use with a touch interface. All the software will have iOS versions soon.

crippled version of the full version and in the mean time, the real problem is ios itself.

I don’t see what security has to do with a creative use case though? Slap an antivirus programme on it and it’s perfectly fine for anyone who isn’t a government official. The surface studio is designed around a touch interface, it works absolutely perfectly. ‘Soon’ not as good as ‘already there’...

I would be all for a 14” iPad Pro of overall size much as 12.9” but with reduced bezels, but anything bigger would just not be portable and of much use.

So agree, silly idea!
