Attached is more detail on the sensor report. The current and the wattage on CPU-A Core is much lower than CPU-B Core.

Anyone think my low voltage on CPU-A Core is a sign of a bad CPU? I can get a replacement on Ebay for $25.

I do only have a quad core as show in the attachment. Is CPU-A just the empty socket? if so, I guess that is not my issue?

oh, and the Safari extension I have running is 1password, I disabled it.

This behavior happens on super-fast websites like Amazon. I never have an issue with streaming though on amazon prime. It's just the occasional typing in the text box where it will hang.
I really think, it's a DNS issue server (ISP) or passthrough (router config) issue. This is independent of line speed or throughput.
There are some bash scripts out there to test this. Google DNS test script or similar.

I have the same issue, running TechTool Pro 8 and getting the fail message on CPU-A Core for the 0.07V. Has anyone determined what the remedy is for this?

Thanks.

I special ordered one of these quad core models in late 2008 and am just now running TechTool's sensor test. I got a voltage sensor error...I suspected an erroneous error was being reported about CPU-A only getting .07volt. All 4 cores showed running fine when doing CPU tests. Thanks for the heads-up, with your post! It just makes sense once you realize that Apples never installed a "CPU-A" at the assembly plant.
