I have done mine

Basic iMac 27" mid-2011
- Intel i5-2500S to i7-2600
- standard 1TB to 2TB RAID0 SSD
- Airport upgrade (handoff & continuity enabled)
- ATI 6770m to GTX780m
Hi mhafeez, that sounds awesome. Since my graphic card died today, I figured I might as well take the opportunity to upgrade my imac (a mid-2011 27" as well). Is there anything I should know beforehand, did you have any troubles with the upgrade? Would you kindly tell me what hard drive you used as replacement and where you ordered your components?
Thanks!

[doublepost=1466059836][/doublepost]Hi mhafeez,
Could you specify the video card process. Do you install some drivers or firmware? If yes, were you get it?

Hey just saw this thread and my iMac emc2429 won’t boot thinking about replacing the video card only like you did how is your iMac running since your upgrade.
