Current situation

Found them somewhere around this forum. But here they are!

Just run them with Kextbeast
You saved me!! I followed other tutorials to the minimum detail, and I ended off with a glitchy OS, your files didn't just bring it back to normal, they actually increased my vram to 1gb. Thank you!

Hello guys! I really hope someone can help we with this, I install the three kext a few weeks ago and it works perfectly until now. I don't now how this happened... I tried installing x code using a tutorial from internet ton download an older version. This worked well but then I rebooted my computer and now the graphics are terrible and as you can see it doesn't recognize my Intel HD Graphics 3000 anymore ...
I tried resetting the VRAM with alt+shift+R+P also went to check the hardware apple test nothing wrong ... I also tried to reinstall the kext because i thought this could be the problem! I am really lost here and would be a millions times grateful to anyone with a solution for this!

My computer opens the monitor tab in the top of the screen and says there is a unrecognised monitor

Here are some screenshots of my specs of my macbook its in french but there is a line that says
"Information on the extensions of the center : No kext charged"

helllp

Has anyone had any luck with this process with upgrading Vram to 1024 MB on a late 2011 MBP with a hacked copy of Catalina. (via Dosdude1)? Or do I need to Downgrade before it works

Hi Guys!
The intel HD3000 kext mods work on macOS 10.13.6 to get 1024mb of Vram.:apple:;)😍
1- first disable SIP
2- reboot
3- download AttachFiles
4- Run Kext utility App
5- Just Drag Kext Mods files to kext utility app
Enjoy!

Hello everyone, tried the method but didn't work for me, is it because I'm installing the kexts in the wrong directory? Do I have to install them on /Library/Extensions or /System/Library/Extensions?

I juz found this thread yesterday. I'm using 2011 17" MBP, and exactly while I was using Catalina. I tried the kext, and it didn't work. Then I downgrade it to High Sierra, and it works.

U have to run KextBeast and choose the 2nd option in order to work.

Also I have a question. Is this juz a gimmick number, or the VRAM actually increase to 1GB??

Hi, I come to update.. This kext also work on MacOS Mojave. I thought could work. And it actually work.

I'm tried to figure the best configuration for my 2011 17" MBP, without doing any desoldering to hardware, and do the software tweak instead. High Sierra is the native supported OS - and the kext work with it, but when the dGPU disabled, for me the tweak do get brightness control work is too hard and confusing.

So I think this is the best configuration (at least for me). Install the Mojave, disable dGPU, and tweak the kext, without doing desoldering or typing in terminal.
