Perhaps benchmarks aren't a good indicator of real world differences

I timed my boot up today and it took 14 seconds to get to the login screen. Only tested once.

Maybe this might give some clues as to the differences between samsung and toshiba. Only thing i'm not sure about is how much it might vary from system to system depending on the programs installed and the amount of space taken up.

just timed mine: 19 seconds to desktop (auto login)
