The M2 Chip might be powerful, but 8GB ram is always 8GB, no way be better than 32GB ram.

might be nice to load a lot of data at one time, but idk about rendering times.

No the M2 if far more powerful but my version of Final cut Pro doesn't work with the latest mac OS. so i bought the Trash can. Plus I simply wanted one and it was cheap

I always wanted the colorful original iMac and iBook, never got one 🥲

I imagine there is hardly any working ones now and if they are they are pretty useless of any thing other than just being a toy.

Any plans on running any image generators locally......via pinokio for example. Flux, PCM, Stable Diffusion?

Stable Diffusion is running SDXL ok with an external 8 GB 5700XT eGPU on my Mac Pro 6,1. The D500 has not enough memory.

Speed is 4.57s/it for a 1024x768 picture. Mac Studio M1 Ultra is at 1.49s/it.

I love my trashcan. I like to caress it and tell it how much Constantin Brâncuși would have appreciated its grace.

I know it is creaky in all honesty, but it works for me...
