Hehe now you found the right path. If you've got the money (as in you don't have issues at the end of the month), just go for 2.9/512/460 and you'll be good, considering it's a non-user upgradable machine. I wanted to gift myself with 1 TB, but again I could have survived with 512 GB (which is what I already had in my 2011 MBP with an SSD and 16 GB RAM).
Note to the guy saying there have been no improvements in CPUs for the past 5 years: it's not true. My 2.9 Ghz (Skylake) is wat faster than my 2.2 GHz quad-core 2720QM i7 Sandy Bridge with 6 MB L3 cache.
