Mine finally has shipped from B&H. Can't wait... actually I did wait about a month in a half.

I think it's only the 12.9 inch model that there is a wait for. The 10.5 seems to be readily available.
I ordered my 12.9 256GB Space Grey on 21/07 and have a estimated delivery date of 4th Aug to 11th
I had a estimated delivery date of aug 1 through the 9th. It came fast. It was charged and shipped notification on friday the 28th. It traveled through the system over the weekend and I ended up getting it on the Monday the 31st. Never in a million years did I think it would go from china to alaska to east coast just over a weekend.

Apple really f&£ked up with stock this time. I've been waiting for longer than you. Tempted to cancel and give the surface a try.
Placed an order on July 31st at Apple's website. The accessories (Smart keyboard, leather sleeve, Apple pencil, and beats x) arrived August 2nd. Ipad Pro 12.9in Wifi + Cellular 512gb will be delivered August 14-21. It's not yet shipped.
I couldn't order the iPad until today. The guy from the store told me it should be here on Wednesday at the latest, let's hope he's right. I have been dying to get my hands on one.

Do you have any local apple stores near by? I was able to walk into one and pick up a 12.9, perhaps because it was the base model (wifi only), but a number of apple stores in my area all had stockPlaced an order on July 31st at Apple's website. Could not resist the upgrade from my 9.7 iPad Pro to the 10.5" version. Got the 256GB wifi model in Gold color.
I am delighted with this purchase...the difference in the speed in considerable - its super fast.
Also the screen size increase, though not that much, still feels big enough while keeping iPad manageable to hold and carry.
Also I use the Apple Pencil for taking notes in office and the feeling is much better compared to 9.7...it feels as if I am writing on paper.

Had ordered it previously but ended up cancelling it to re order once the back to school offer came to Europe.
Even though I had to wait a couple of weeks I'm glad I did. Couldn't pass up on a pair or free headphones.

I've just ordered the 12.9 in space gray with 256 GB from Apple's official website with the student discount. I tried my best to hustle for a cheaper alternative, but I had enough of the employees trying to fool me. I feel relieved now that I don't have to search every store and website for pricing and delivery updates. I'm also getting a pair of wireless Beats earphones for free which makes the whole thing worth it! + bought the pencil, too, even though it didn't have a student discount. The Ipad should be shipping around August 31, but the other stuff in a couple of days. Hopefully my iPad will arrive within 2 weeks

My ipad pro 12.9" 256GB WiFi Space Grey has finally shipped from China, ordered from the Apple site on August the 2nd after 4 other postponed orders from local stores here in Scandinavia.
Should finally have it in my hands in 3-5 workdays.

Ordered mine Thursday August 17, 2017 ... From B&H... Will receive tomorrow Tuesday August 22... Got $70 bucks off instant rebate... No TAX , aprox $90 bucks State FL... Expedited Shipping... iPad pro 12.9 512 gb...
In the end I got a 10.5 as I realised the size of the 12.9 isn't optimal for me. Been using it for two days and it's phenomenal. Good luck to those who are still waiting!
I bit the bullet on a 10.5", 512, cell ~ WiFi in space grey today. Purchased from the local Apple dealer where I bought my iMac. Glass screen protector and UAG case ordered at discounted price. Likely to be about a weeks wait.
EDIT: It was a long week but anyway due early this coming week, possibly Tuesday 19th Oz time. Luckily I'm getting it at the ordered date price. A$1629 so I'm very happy with that sort of service.
