2018 MBP 15" - Backlight Issue?

Is this a backlight issue or is it something else? Is this normal? The screen appears to display purple lights at specific viewing angles. Kind of annoying when I'm watching content and there are tints of purple.

Spoke with Apple Support and a rep said this should be normal. Anyone else notice any purple in their MBPs?

Yep, mine does it too - moves around as you shift and tilt your head, mostly on black screens it’s visible. Just the nature of the screens.
