Unfortunately I do not own a 2019 i9 iMac or any 2019 iMac yet, so I wouldn't be qualified to answer that question. Perhaps someone else here might though. I pretty miffed at apple because my iMac is only 10 months old (Mid 2017) and I just discovered it cannot get HDR10 or Dolby Atmos, so as my last Mac (Yes. they lost a life long client) I'm going to sell this and buy a 2019 iMac then be done with them. I have been a faithful customer and a great salesman for them and they pay me back by ripping me off. 2017 windows machines can get both of those codecs, why can't Apple? Because they're intentionally forcing us to buy again. I'm done with these rip off artists. I have a house full of Macs too. Sad.
