My guess is they will all want to plug into your account in order to pull all the stats, I could be wrong though.

“Plugging” into accounts shouldn’t require password details if Instagram is providing these details via their APIs. If they aren’t then I’m not willing to sacrifice my password for a bit of fun.

Yes I did it last year and haven’t had any password troubles. But I completely understand the concern.

That’s really lucky for you. I have a little bit of private chat on Instagram other than the pictures. Wouldn’t want to risk my password with some random unknown web portal on the internet. will have to seat this one out. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I never had to give my password. Just agreed to terms

Do they still ask you to authenticate into your IG account? I know most FB and Twitter apps do that as well.
Yes you authenticate it. But I didn’t give my password. Honestly I don’t know the difference. ??

If your profile is not restricted then third party services shouldn’t need any details from you other than just the username.
