Love the specs and the Anime Matrix LED is hilarious. Asus seem to have fun with their concepts.
When will these be released is the question?

Yea why is there no thunderbolt or webcam..No thunderbolt and no webcam kills a device like this for me. Great hardware though otherwise
We're in a new world order in a sense, where many people are working remote, and as such webcams are essential. I've been using my webcam every day as we conduct meetings. I think the omission of the web camera may very well come back to haunt them. As for thunderbolt, that's something also that moves this machine to be a non-starter for me. I have a EGPU and lack of TB means I won't consider this bad boyno webcam
AMD chipset is most likely the reason why there's no TB, as for the webcam, maybe the circuitry in the back for that micro-led display is the reason - tbh, I have no idea.Yea why is there no thunderbolt or webcam..
I’m liking this, though I’m not sure about battery life. I’m more partial to 15” laptops but I could see myself using this
The Thinkpads Lenovo released earlier this year come with the older Ryzen and Thunderbolt 3. So I'm pretty sure it's Asus that didn't include it to save costs or whatever. We're in a new world order in a sense, where many people are working remote, and as such webcams are essential. It's royal free alreadyIt's just so amazing that AMD's new chips are blowing Intel away. Great for consumers, now and into the future.
Lack of Thunderbolt 3 is a problem for many, should be fixed with the introduction of USB4 I believe (Thunderbolt 3 without royalties) although Intel will probably have Thunderbolt 4 by then.
Well, not everyone uses a webcam. I used it a lot back in the days of Skype, but now imessage, instagram, whatsapp video calls on Ipads and Iphones. So didn't use webcam for long time, and only quarantine forces me to use it at this point. And you can always buy one and attach via USB port. This will be your anchor to bring with you.Well, the bad news is of course the webcam. I don't understand that at all. Particularly, with the current work-from-home peak, the timing is interesting to say the least...
Yeah, I guess I could use Teams etc on my iPad instead of my laptop, but it's a bit weird not to have one.Well, not everyone uses a webcam. Another strange thing is that, when you get the 16GB RAM model, 8GB is soldered in. So the max RAM you can get is effectively 24GB instead of 32GB. I wonder who makes these decisions sometimes...
