Yeah, that is weird. Seeing the shipping dates on the site with March 25-57th dates doesn't make me feel good but I'm betting everyone that pre-ordered will get theirs in the 25-27th timeframe. Fingers crossed!

My 12.9 SG 256GB just changed to Preparing to ship! (Ordered at 8:59 on Friday from AT&T).

I just logged back in to check the dates and you are correct. The dates are all showing as delivers between March 25th to 27th for all models except for the 12.9" Space Gray 1TB. I hope that means that my order will actually ship earlier than expected. It does have a phone number assigned already but still shows "In Progress" I guess I will know in the next day or two if this is actually arriving this week.

I just checked my order and it says preparing to Ship.when I was refreshing the webpage it was still showing as In Progress. I had to actually click on the View Order option from the email from AT&T to see the update on the status. I also tried to go in using the AT&T app to view the status of the order and it updated as well. The delivery dates did not change online from April but I’m pretty confident the iPad will be here this week. Good luck to all that ordered and are waiting on their device.

Does anyone know how AT&T typically ship their products out? FedEx? DHL? UPS?

When I've ordered from AT&T in the past, they typically use two carriers, FedEx and UPS. I'm still waiting on an update with the shipping information. I am signed up for FedEx and UPS to get updates when a package is scheduled for delivery but I have not seen anything come through yet.

Update: I just logged into my AT&T account and it shows as shipped. The tracking number is available. It is being shipped via FedEx.

My 12.9” Space Gray 1TB Cellular ordered from AT&T was originally projecting April 13-20.

It just shipped for delivery tomorrow via FedEx.

My wife’s 11” Space Gray 128GB Cellular ordered from AT&T was projecting the same and is currently preparing to ship!

Good Job Apple & AT&T!

I didn’t place my order until around 4:30 ET on the 20th and I’m still showing as in progress for a delivery date of April 13-20 for my 1tb model. Hoping it processes for an earlier delivery! Congrats to the rest of you!

Holy ****! AT&T emailed me today. My iPad will be here tomorrow (3/25)! My original order said Apr 13-22! I was not optimistic for it shipping earlier. 😁

Checking in...Space Gray 11” 512GB ordered through AT&T on 03/20. Received shipping confirmation from FedEX for delivery EOD tomorrow, 3/26.

My iPad arrived this afternoon! Still working but I set up the basics and downloaded YouTube and been “watching” as I work. Excited to play around with it more in a few when work is done. 😁

I'm a little miffed at this point. My order on AT&T has not moved since the 20th, shipping time is still showing 4/13-20, meanwhile Apple's shipping time is improved. What is going on with AT&T???

Apple simply prioritizes orders from their websites. Always been that way. Carriers and other retailers are lower on the priority list during launch.

If you want a device asap and every place is on back order, it's always best to order from Apple even when their quoted shipping times are longer than carriers/retailers. More often than not, the Apple order will arrive more quickly than from any other source.

Hey! I've got a preparing to ship now! But delivery dates are still April 13-20th. At least this is keeping me from getting it and then wishing I had the new keyboard/trackpad!

To the ones that received their iPad from AT&T, did you get a sim card? My order didn’t come with one so I’m not sure how I’m supposed to activate it. I added a new line when I purchased the iPad.

Line should be on the eSIM. There should be instructions on how to activate service on the new device.
