I’m assuming you don’t have a tracking number assigned? Praying and hoping this is just a glitch. The Postal service part is a bug. Not sure about sept 23th delivery.
‘Every iPhone and Apple Watch I have purchased has always showed shipping from inside of China. Never seen one that waited till it hit the US. I will admit that tracking sucks in China but it should show at least a couple of stops in china before it hits the US mainland.
I seem to remember that I had to install the iOS update on my old phone before I could transfer it to the new phone correct? But I also seem to recall that when I got my new phone it did not have the latest operating system on it and I had to update it as well. Is that right?
They just haven't created our shipping labels yet-when they do the tracking numbers will show up.

Most and the majority of the pre-order items come strictly from China. It comes straight from the factory assembly line. If it’s a big item. It’s coming from China. If it’s a small item such as accessories those come from the states in the US.
