No iPhones are on the state-side. The only iPhones that made it to the stateside are the ones famous YouTubers and reviewers have to write the cheesy review for the consumers.
All iPhones are still stuck in China. All of them. They have not been shipped yet. Not even Apple retail stores has them.
It depends on your local hub/delivery person. Sometimes it’s not enforced even when officially required.

In the past, Apple has pre-shipped and stored devices state-side ahead of time as they are produced.
Not when it comes to the iPhones. Other products, yes. Products like iPads, AirPods, Apple Watch. Yes. But not iPhones.

Man, if that’s the case we wouldn’t be there. The UPS website wouldn’t give up and crash on us…
Sorry, I'm in Las Vegas so PST. You guys are 3 hours ahead. So cut 3 hours off. 7-12 hours.
Damn! I'm sorry. I was up at 04:00 AM and I didn't get in until 5:03 AM PST. Even during that time, I had a small heart attack and I was panicking. Thankfully I got a launch date delivery.
Apple was supporting that story by telling people who called in that “yes, your order is coming from the Postal Service”. We know it don’t make sense, but Apple is wrong for doing people this way this year 😂😂
I have personally had tracking information that originated state-side in years past. These devices have been in production for weeks, if not months ahead of time.
This is correct. Do you mind sharing your tracking information where your pre-order launch date iPhone was shipped state-side?
Apple is wrong for doing that. I agree! But still that was a bad joke and it set a very wrong impression.
I had the same problem but I cleared UPS cookies and then it let me tried tracking by reference again.
I always start fresh with a new iPhone.
You know, i had been doing that, but figured i'd check with y'all, just cause I know you guys would have the answer. I've been coming around these parts since i got my 4s! In all this time, I never saw "Postal Service" as a thing for iPhone pre-orders.

The blue/gray trail loop had that date, so I quickly canceled and ordered the Orange alpine loop with a delivery date of 9/23.
