You don’t need Wi-Fi. Literally the first thing you do is connect to your carrier which then uses your cellular data. If you setting it has new iPhone without restoring from a backup then you are good.
Oh thank god.

Whenever I preorder the iphone and I get tracking, I always request a hold at UPS CC. I don't like having my expansive item being delivered to my home and being left out there. Plus I work so I'd rather pick it up then having the UPS guy deliver it to me.Thinking about routing mine to a UPS CC this time around instead of waiting all around....how crowded are these places on launch day (especially if anyone knows how crowded the one in South Seattle is)?
As long as your backup doesn’t blow through your data cap. 😂Oh thank god.
Apple requires a signature so they wouldn’t just leave it at your door.Whenever I preorder the iphone and I get tracking, I always request a hold at UPS CC. But they aren’t doing a backup it’s going to be fresh setup. As long as your backup doesn’t blow through your data cap. 😂
Depends on the driver. In my experience some drivers in my area jsut don't care and with COVID they just drop them without signature required.Apple requires a signature so they wouldn’t just leave it at your door.
My drivers will ring my video door bell then 1 second later run off and I have to track them down. It’s like damn my guy give me a second.Depends on the driver. In my experience some drivers in my area jsut don't care and with COVID they just drop them.
Forgot the g. LolGillian Anderson's Island? Would that be so bad?

Oh, yes, you’re right. Nvm then. And I guess whatever iCloud data that comes through isn’t significant. But they aren’t doing a backup it’s going to be fresh setup.
Very nice! Congratulations! This is where your iPhone is coming from. Foxconn’s newer production assembly plant. East side of Zhenxing, Road, China. 🇨🇳Ordered Friday, was a mess of errors and trying over. Was trying to do in-store pickup and kept getting the errors. Finally it told me my pre-pre-order was invalid. Turns out one of my orders went though and it did delivery instead 🤷🏻♂️
Never the less, movement. See a full tracking number:

I don't work, so I sit on my ass all day and wait for it to come to mama! 🤣Whenever I preorder the iphone and I get tracking, I always request a hold at UPS CC. I guess that driver cares enough not to let your package be stolen. My drivers will ring my video door bell then 1 second later run off and I have to track them down. It’s like damn my guy give me a second.
Wow one hour of refreshing! Your dedication paid off, congrats!!After cancelling my original order with Apple (Oct 17th) and a second one with T-Mobile, I just scored an iPhone 14 Pro Max GOLD 256GB for launch day pickupStock changes almost with the minute so you have to be patient and be fast as stock don't last more than 2 or 3 mins. It took me around 1 hour of refreshing until one like the one I got was available.

I remember doing the original 74-step jailbreak. If you messed up a step right near the end you have to start all over - and I did. I was so happy when the automated jailbreaks came along.

If I had to wait for the brown truck to come by, I'd have too wait till 5 pm and knowing myself, I cannot focus all day. hahaI don't work, so I sit on my ass all day and wait for it to come to mama! 🤣
(That's not actually true-sometimes I stand. By the window. Looking down the street-gotta close those rings!)
I'd jailbreak it in a heartbeat if I could. However, vulnerabilities are harder to find as iOS progresses. Jailbreaking doesn't scare me at all. A little care and common sense goes a long way. Please don't jail break it. Enjoy iOS 16. Apple has been working very hard through out the year. Enjoy it!
Congrats! Hopefully yours doesn’t change to null like a few others waiting for in store in this thread. After cancelling my original order with Apple (Oct 17th) and a second one with T-Mobile, I just scored an iPhone 14 Pro Max GOLD 256GB for launch day pickupStock changes almost with the minute so you have to be patient and be fast as stock don't last more than 2 or 3 mins. You must love going to the strip clubs. Come to Las Vegas. We have plenty. 🫣I'd jailbreak it in a heartbeat if I could. However, vulnerabilities are harder to find as iOS progresses. Jailbreaking doesn't scare me at all. A little care and common sense goes a long way.
Is Jailbreaking still a thing?
Just how big is your new iPhone?!I don't like having my expansive item...
