Maybe a little but I remember on the iPhone 12 mine said it was in China up until Thursday afternoon and then it took off.
And they were flying to their destination cities in the wee hours of the morning on launch day. My flight left SDF at 4 AM, landed here at like 6 and I had the iPhone by 11:30 that morning. Good times!

Here is the plane when it was landing. I was posted up on the right runway, but as you all saw it ended up landing on the left runway. I drove over after it landed to get the picture I posted earlier in the thread.

This feels a little bit like the last day of school. Our little phones now split up and go out in different directions for their new lives and destinies. Farewell, and Godspeed, cargo mates! Now we hang around for the first photos 😀
This will all be on Thursday. It will be a happy and sad day in here.

OMG, @beach bum @julit0 @heyyitssusan @Brad7 @DianaMR did we all pass out last night drinking at the bar at ZZ and miss our plane? Has anyone in wave 2B seen updates? I guess if we're all still stuck in ZZ together, we should start drinking again...mimosas and bloody marys for breakfast!!
I have been here so long in China they want me to apply for citizenship!!

Same, my 13 Pro was in ZZ until a day before it arrived the status magically changed to "out for delivery" - I can't imagine how much they must pay UPS for exclusivity/dedicated workers/security just to make sure that it gets to where it needs to get on the date it meant to be there. Since the 11 Pro regardless of how impatient I am they never dropped the ball not once on the ship date. It makes me more anxious watching the UPS truck in my choice circling my house for hours coming to me last rather than waiting on the item to arrive internationally to the US lol

Should have landed in Kentucky, right?

This was my first cell phone:

I also really liked this one, because red. It was nice to have color in a sea of black and gray.

One of my favorite phones — before the iPhone, of course — was one that I think was made by Sony. It was really tiny, for the time, and had a wheel on the side that was rather like the digital crown on an Apple Watch. You turned the wheel to move through the menus and pressed on it to select. I thought that was really clever. I don't think any other cell phone had that, ever. I wish I could remember more about it, but it was more than 20 years ago I think. Getting old... it's not for the faint of heart.
