I just called UPS to attempt to expedite shipping on my phone (I was fully expecting them to say no, but it was worth a shot) and they told me that the package has “cleared customs” (it’s been in Louisville this morning and flew in on 5X91) and will therefore arrive at my address in 1-2 business days. Is this correct information, or will these phones likely stay in Louisville until Thursday? Also, does “cleared customs” mean the same thing as the import scan?

You will not get your phone before launch day. That happened one year with a couple people, and there was hell to pay to Apple.

I am not gonna lie to you, I probably just watch her unboxing video and that’s it lol. I might watch her review if it’s not too long. But I do understand completely where you coming from. She doesn’t speak negatively of Apple at all nor does she mention cons. But it’s her thing and we all know she is friends with Tim Cook at this point 😂.

Y’all gonna buy me a drink or something if I can get though the video review though.

I ordered the 10th (got lucky) a 14 Pro Max Gold 256GB with store pickup for the 16th and never changed to "null". This morning, my Apple Card got charged for the taxes amount and store pickup still showing Friday 16th.

That is just an artifact due to the fact FlightAware has no meaningful coverage in mainland China.

That is likely a loaded 748, definitely from ZHCC, it spent about 3.5 hrs on the ground in ZHCC and is almost to RKSI, given no one has had a recent ZZ departure scan, it maybe a safe assumption that until the containers bound for the US are sorted from the other countries they are bound to (likely what happens at RKSI instead of a direct to PANC flight), tracking data may be batched, I've seen it happen, although less and less as near real time systems and event driven architectures become more prevalent in ERP.
