PT would be semantically correct as it indicates that you’re using whatever the current time is in the pacific zone. Boy do I wish we could ditch changing clocks! Permanent daylight time.
Specifically, time in this zone is referred to as Pacific Standard Time (PST) when standard time is being observed (early November to mid-March), and Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) when daylight saving time (mid-March to early November) is being observed.
Not sure you'll be able to, looks like it's OTA only right now. It could change, but it'll likely be a required update on setup.

?? Pacific Standard Time is one hour earlier than Pacific Daylight time by definition. and it matters in states like Hawaii and Arizona who don’t do DST and other countries who don’t.

I may end up doing OTA first and then just do DFU restore afterwards (I know it's not necessary), but I just do it.

But you were also kinda right. Everyone knows that whether you say PST or PDT, you mean the Pacific time zone.
