It's the same time, regardless. I've always said PST. PDT sounds like a disease.
PT would be semantically correct as it indicates that you’re using whatever the current time is in the pacific zone. Boy do I wish we could ditch changing clocks! Permanent daylight time.

But it isn't the same time.
Specifically, time in this zone is referred to as Pacific Standard Time (PST) when standard time is being observed (early November to mid-March), and Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) when daylight saving time (mid-March to early November) is being observed.
