Does anyone know when/if UPS will show anything in the tracking details about being rerouted to a UPS store for pickup? (I accidentally shipped my phone to my old address and didn't notice until it was too late, so I'm really counting on the redirect)

For those who did in store pickup, does apple give you any trouble if you come in hours after your pickup time? I might not be able to make the original time I requested. Guessing not, but I haven't had to select a pickup time before.

Personally I've never used it but from what I've seen if you miss your pickup window, you can reschedule your pickup time. Either way they'll hold it for about a week. I wanted to do a pickup but I really don't want to be in an Apple Store on launch day so I'm hoping my UPS request to send it to their pick up point works.

Mine also within 2 minutes of official shipping notification on store, and half hour after the email from apple with tracking info I already had via UPS choice ;-)

Im wondering the same thing. I requested it to be sent to a pickup point and they charged me but I haven't seen any confirmation that the change was successful.

https://igotoffer.com/apple/apple-serial-number-why-is-it-important has a table that lists all respective make years/manufacturers by the first digits of your serial. You can also look it up on Apple's site I believe https://checkcoverage.apple.com/ but check my first link I think that'll help you.

You should be in Louisville, yours was on my flight out of Incheon. Weird that they didn't give you the notification that it landed in Anchorage.

Lots of times scans are missed and populate later. UPS tech is working overtime-and as we have seen, its not the strongest.

What I am interested to see today is, if my delivery date changes from Sep. 23rd Postal service to tomorrow. I have been tracking it on UPS out of ANC, so I am sure it will change today.

I'm almost hoping it just stays with "Postal Service, Delivers 9/23" forever, even as the phone is in my hands tomorrow.... Kinda like the mysterious feel of it, leaving open the possibility that something heretofore unknown will then arrive on the 23rd via USPS, as a extra special surprise.

The box for your trade in might be what is being delivered by postal service. Maybe the people who got that postal service delivery method are the ones who are trading in their iPhone.

So, I received my AppleCare+ and it says coverage expires on Sept. 9, 2024 and my wife's is Sept. 10, 2024. I guess the coverage starts when they leave the factory, not when you actually get them. I guess I should have waited till I got the phones to add AppleCare?
