It is interesting to see all this movement so early, wonder if it's because all the phones arrived by yesterday instead of UPS still waiting for the last plane(s) to arrive from ANC before shipping them out to local hubs later at night.

UPS apparently doesn't fly to CVG themselves. I did find the carrier that brought the phones in recent years but do not remember who it was. There were several quite small planes that were the only flights from SDF to CVG and they departed SDF around 4am. Curious if they are called up last minute as needed. Quite a short flight, almost more time taxiing than flying.

We only have one flight a day from Louisville via UPS, arrives around 4:30 am each day so I assume my phone will be on that plane.

Louisville's airport got its code from its former name, Standiford Field. It was named after businessman and legislator Dr. Elisha David Standiford, who owned part of the land on which the airport was built.
