So Yuki basically confirms that the car has been designed around Max, who demands a “sharp front end” of the car.

So it seems that Max requires the same type of car as Michael Schumacher did. I wonder if Jos “developed” this driving style for Max, as Jos has first hand experience being teammates of Michael Schumacher back in the days.

Alas, George and Kimi each docked a position for leaving their garage too early after the Red Flag. Still, I expect tomorrow's podium to be Oscar, Lando and George.

Maybe Yuki can benefit as well...?

Gee, Minimum sharing a row with the William's, I am surprised there was no mass firings at the Red Oxtails.. Minimum must be pissed.. Having to drive such a useless invention right now...7th.. that has to hurt, and worse cannot swear..

Seems harsh. I expected a fine. Must have been due to the Medical Car being underway in the Pit Lane.

Lando will be challenged to be on the Podium. Oscar is living in his head rent free.

The McLarens are just so much faster than anyone else, their tire deg is lowest and Bahrain is nice and wide with multiple DRS zones so you can pass.

Unless he bottles it hard, I do not see how he cannot work his way to second.

No penalty for Russell.
Hulkenberg disqualified for plank wear.

It is 2025, the cars could do 400km in 2 hours, maybe it is time to think maybe add another 92km to the race...

George Russell has really stepped it up this year and taking that team leader role seriously. He's a fast driver but lacked consistency and I'm glad he's proving the doubters wrong 'so far' at least.

We could have fireworks soon as McLaren struggle to manage two very capable race winners who are fairly evenly matched. I still think Zak favours Lando due to his time with the team and this marketing value, but Piastri isn't there to be a number two. Things are going to get very interesting I hope. Red Bull at a warmer track are struggling as we had heard others say they would, so another team with a potential ticking timebomb as patience wears thin if they aren't at the front of the grid again soon. We could have a decent season on the way!

I like mandatory 2 stop races before any lengthening .
Why? if the race is longer by 1 hour, from 2 hours to 3 hours, you would automatically introduce by pure attrition 2 or more stops without it having to be mandatory, pure use will force maybe as many as 4 stops.. I think 300km, in modern cars is not long enough.. Maybe in this last farce, would Merc have held onto 2nd? Or would it have been a Pawpaw 1 2? Maybe Pastry Pies would have binned it, and Minimum Verstappen got a decent finish? I think 300km needs to be scrapped, it has not really been an issue for over a decade.. But it will never happen, the FIA just don't have the will to grow the sport..

hmm...
I want to say that Lando is a very capable winner but I'm not seeing it. I think Oscar is better... so I guess we'll see.

I’m not a huge fan of endurance racing in F1. I have the WEC for that. 😉

Ok, then we have the sprints.. that is F1, then the Sunday main, would be endurance as it is way longer than a sprint..???

Yes, 400km or 2 hours, not this stupid under 9 girls karting 1 hour rubbish... The race starts and ends and all over in less than a crappy B grade rom-com.. pathetic..

So The Race now believes that Jack Doohan's performance in Bahrain was enough to save his seat until at least the Summer Break. His race contract was good through Bahrain, but I did not expect them to replace him with Colapinto until Miami. I still am inclined to believe this will happen at Miami, but I guess we shall see...
