Yeah, through bootcamp of course! So long as a game like that runs over 30fps and 1080p i have no complaints. I never expected an imac to run games at a crazy level anyway. If I wanted that, i'd have bought a proper windows computer with far better specs. But my main intention with any mac is productivity first, gaming second.

It's just nice to know I have a computer that if I did choose to play games like gta v etc that it won't die out on me in a moments notice.

If you played at 1440p at medium settings, you'd probably get around the 80fps tbh. There is a few things that you will want to turn up such a water detail to very high and everything, so you will be looking at either 1080p or 1440p for wether you want over 60fps or a little under it.

Oh wow, well even better then. Can't wait!

Yes, refurbished Macs directly from Apple are probably one of the few refurbished things I would trust. You get a good warranty and a cleaned up machine.

Generally yes, however I did decide to go with a refurbished MacBook Pro 15 (aka customer return) from the Geek Squad since it was a complete in box return unit.

Ended up the same price as Apple's 2014 refurbished version, however lost 2 weeks of warranty to get the recently released 2015 model.

Also picked up a display model monitor from another local Best Buy for work when our store one broke.

So while Apple is generally the easiest and safest place for clearance and refurbs. There still is some stock on the clearance racks at Best Buy, Frys, etc. Still quite a few people buying the wrong tech item and returning it.

I have that iMac and with Windows 8.1 installed via Bootcamp, I can run GTA V at 900p at 80fps with FXAA, and a mix of normal, high and very high settings. Absolutely no problem running it and it's so hard to back to the consoles sub 30 fps haha

Do you have to have windows for it?
