As to the box having been opened, are you in Canada?

I assume so and is it possible the box was in fact opened by Canadian customs?

I know I ship into Canada frequently and customers up there request I ship US Postal to avoid issues and fees with Canadian Customs.

Someone told me if I ship an item up there any other way, they have to pay an 'agent fee', but that there is an agreement with Canada and US Postal Services.

I know that US Post Offices cash Canadian Postal Money orders.

Just my .02 !!!

Oh yeah make Apple Repair/Replace the other items if they are less than a year old.

I have never had an issue with Apple, but I am fortunate to have an Apple Store nearby and everything goes through there.

No joke, I'm the IT manager here at work - I have purchased 23 Dell desktops, 4 Dell servers, 54 Dell LCD's and 8 Dell printers in the last 13 months .. All of that to replace the same gear that was 4 years old, all from Dell as well.. I swear to it, knock on wood, not one piece of equipment has failed in ANY way.

Having said that, other than a crappy iPod Nano I purchased a year ago (the sound is horrible on it) I did just purchase an iMac, which is a bit slow but, very nice otherwise. Not to mention I have been considering the new TimeCapsule thingy with integrated WiFi.. I wonder though..
