When do you feel the difference, doing what? and I think it has more resale value because it passes the 3Ghz, after 3 years that may be helpful for resale, or not?

I'm glad I found this thread :)

I was wondering the same thing, and the 3ghz is costing you 180 dollars more right now (everything else being the same), when resale time comes around are people going to pay 180 dollars more for the 3ghz over the 2.8ghz? I'm thinking thats a no. Sure you'll get a little more, but definately not 180 dollars. I'll be going for the 2.8ghz model now.

That article is about how the GeForce is better for gaming than the Radeon, not the CPU.

A 200Mhz difference on the same class of CPU is a miniscule amount.

To be honest, you wouldn't notice much difference in gaming if you had a 2.16Ghz Core 2 coupled with the Geforce, let alone the 2.8 vs the 3.06. The GPU will run out of steam before the CPU.

You will be literally throwing money down the drain if you get the 3.06 and Geforce instead of the 2.8 and the Geforce.

If you have the money, buy the one with 3,06. I have the one in my signature and I am very happy with it.

I purchased the 3.06GHz and think the upgraded video card and processor are worth the extra $$$. Plus, for me, it just keeps my machine from going obsolete that much sooner! :)
