Yeah. Display size is worthless unless it comes with pixels.

+1 This is one of the reasons why Gateway 2000 Big Screen PC's failed (anyone besides me remember those?) Using the computer on a TV is too cumbersome, and if you are using it for media creation forget it. The resolution of TV's don't come close to the monitor.

Not saying its bad to use your computer on the TV a lot of people like it, I just couldn't do work that way. (I've tried).

The bigger they are, the heavier and easier to tip over....careful for what you wish for.
Need a really robust mtg system with the mass cg squarely inside the tipping zone.

btw, my 24" iMac seems much more stable on its base than my 27" iMac.
And, yes I will be wall mtg my 27" iMac upon it being fixed. Lesson Learned.

Same goes for TV's unfortunately..

I bought a 42" Samsung 1080p HDTV... Thought it was huge.. After a while it just seemed average size..

Then i bought a 50" Samsung 1080p HDTV.. Thought it was mammoth.. Now i'm used to it..

Next one is a 60" ish one.. Holding off buying until the 3D standard settles down a bit though
