Ordered on Thursday, it SHIPPED from Shanghai on friday, and it's arriving today on Monday...

Wow?

so it didn't even follow the "Usually ships in 5-7 days" thing.. it shipped right away... and it's looking like it really was 2-3 day Shipping...

What configuration did you order ..... Quad Core? ...... Ram? ........ basically was it a custom or stock configuration :)

I bumped it up to an i7 and also 8 Gigs of Ram.

=) So it was custom.


i'm REALLLLY excited that it's arriving this fast....

Also i had a shipping charge problem as well... and i called Apple, got a person on the phone within 30 seconds of Dialing... no waiting.. and it was an English speaking american... and he fixed the charge....

Wow that is super fast. Any problems with the LCD screen? The apple site now says 5-7 days but you got it even faster. You are lucky.

Well that's encouraging. I ordered the same configuration minus the 8GB RAM upgrade. I ordered it with 4GB and ordered an additional 4GB from bhphoto for $83 to save some $$$. Congrats on your purchase and speedy shipping. Could you let me know if you experience any of the yellow tint issues others have experienced with the 27" variety? Thanks!

No I did not misread it. Maybe you did. He stated it was ordered on Thursday, shipped next day, and is out for delivery today, That is only ,lets see counting Thursday, Friday, Monday as business days that is 3 days not 5-7 business days as apple site usually quotes. So you are the one who misread it my friend.
 
UPDATE- It just arrived at 1:20 pm EST =)


I won't be able to test out the Yellow Screen Tint until tonight when i get home from Work.
 
My 27" is in for repair. I sent an email to steve jobs complaining about the build quality and i got a phone call from apple the next day. I bought mine from an apple retail shop. I live in the uk.
 
I ordered an i7 on Thursday evening. Has not shipped yet. But they did ship the printer. Are you sure it is not your printer (if you ordered one)?

I only ordered one thing, the i7 27 " =)

So it's only one box to track
 
OP, congrats on your new i7! This really upsets me though, I've been waiting on a replacement for mine with the flickering problem since January 15! Thats 5 and a half weeks! Hopefully I'll get it soon, otherwise customer relations will be hearing from me! I hope yours is perfect OP so you don't have to deal with getting Apple to fix it.
