I just looked at that CDW "deal" and I'd question if it's "new" as they say, then why is it only in "good" condition and with blemishes? That's not new. Is it open box maybe? And the price is pretty unbelievable, so I wonder what else is going on there.

CDW also charges a minimum 15% restocking on returns per its return policy. Knowing the details of a vendor's return policy is a good habit so there's no surprises later on.

I know CDW has been around a long time, but I haven't done business with them. I definitely would not jump at this offer.

They are lightly used, in what CDW calls their New - Good condition.

For what it's worth, I'm convinced SOME form of update is imminent for the iMac 27, but I'm not about to tell anyone it is definitely happening.

I’m assuming no AppleCare will be available on these type of products? Meaning buyer will get the remainder of what warranty is on the iMac.

In Canada the 27" is now 5-6 weeks. Was 3-4 weeks for quite a while now a it's longer wait.

Maybe for some but this isnt because of the Virus, If so you would also see the 21in be delayed as well. Considering the 27 in is now slipping to August means something is going on.

Again, so is iPhone, iPad for delivery to my ZIP code. So is stuff from Amazon. So is stuff from Home Depot. Not everything. But some stuff is delayed across various sites and businesses.

I am just saying don't get your hopes up. We will probably get a new system in September during an event. but if only shipping delays is the clue, then you also need to factor in iPhone and iPad which lowers the chance that shipping delay = refresh coming. Its possible iMac might get silently updated. But its common for things to be delayed, not just with Apple due to COVID. Apple was so focused on China for production, so they are impacted more than Amazon or other places.
